Very nice, even at Christmas time. A nice alternative is that you can now buy Christmas decorations in addition to take-away meals. An elven workshop was set up. Great idea! So I had to buy a smoker right away👍

In addition to delicious mulled wine and roast goose to go, you can get some Christmas market atmosphere here. Very nice sales exhibition of Erzgebirge wood art.

funny ... if you go out to eat for two days in the alpine hut and order the same thing but with a gift voucher you get served much smaller portions ... no words ...

A guest at the city beach for many years. The idea is awesome, as is the food. This year the food has gotten a lot better. The new drinks are mega, initially even better than now. You would say you can tell who is passionate about the bar and who is not. Service is super attentive and even if food or drinks are long in coming, the service staff remain friendly, understanding and give you a great smile. Keep it up! What is not so nice, the boss often runs a little too hectically across the terrace, confuses some guests and sometimes the staff thinks too. Still my favorite location in Cottbus

The only thing that brings this great structure to collapse is the miserable service ... the team does not seem to agree at all, there is hardly any communication, orders that are "passed on" are forgotten and you wait and wait ... even those The attitude of the staff is very arrogant and by no means hospitable .. it gives the impression that the service staff only want to improve their pocket money but do not stand behind what they do and radiate neither joy nor fun at work .. definite miscast! We always gave the beach promenade a chance, as everyone can have a bad day, but unfortunately the service has always disappointed us - that's why we will not visit this bar again. Too bad !

Regardless of what you think of the owner, I can only give 2 stars so far. On our last stay (a few weeks ago), pretty much was not right. As a note: it was very warm, well filled but not full and we (4 adults and 2 children) came around 6 p.m. without a reservation. After I said hello to the young man behind the counter, but he didn't react, my previously good impression began to melt. A colleague whizzed by and greeted us in a friendly manner - another arrived at the counter where we were waiting and also greeted us when the young man behind the counter finally lifted his head and greeted us too. When we asked whether there were 6 shady places available without a reservation, the colleague behind the counter echoed us with "without a reservation it looks bad". But right in our back (before the passage) there were still 2 tables and all seats free. When we asked about it, they wanted to move us to a sunny spot on the opposite side. When we asked again whether this space directly behind us was not available, a colleague told us that it was available. When we sat down we got scared that the wobbly bar stools would fold away from under our bums. And no, none of us are overweight or quite tall. Our waitress at our table came quite regularly to check on us and was friendly and hard-working. Due to her young age, she was apparently a holiday worker or at least relatively new to the catering trade, which is why I don't want to say anything negative about her and this colleague certainly didn't contribute negatively to this debacle. The drinks came after a few minutes and were very refreshing and tasty. Unfortunately, it was different with the meal. Personally, the pizza didn't really taste good to me. The wrong side dishes came with 3 other meals and one meal only came after repeated requests and when everyone else (even the children) had already finished. Well ... there can be days like this - no question about it - but then you at least want some kind of courtesy or a sign of appreciation. The fact that a few children ran back and forth screaming wildly between the tables and the "beach" although it was pointed out several times, I don't really want to include it in the rating, but it underlines the overall impression. But there we are again with the owner ... The 2 stars are only there because the first visit was not so catastrophic but really comfortable - but not at the table and without food.

The alpine hut and the beach promenade have a very nice ambience. Unfortunately, the kitchen is always very different (almost as if different cooks sometimes work there). From very satisfied to poor, everything was included. We were particularly impressed by the steak sandwich on our last visit!

Service was okay. Food and cocktails were good, the draft beer is not recommended. The summery beach atmosphere is great for an evening round :-)

Were on the beach promenade yesterday again, it was fantastic again. Great atmosphere, great service and delicious food and drinks. No matter if young or old, I think this is something for everyone :)

Terrible. Boss who yells at his employees in front of the guests doesn't work at all. You can do this discreetly and therefore respectfully. Table was not ready as ordered and staff were otherwise very tense and helpless.

Toilets could really use a renovation. Otherwise nice place.
